Not Your Average Joes.
Though we are a collective of unique individuals with our own diverse interests, there’s no denying that we all share some common Brandspank-ish traits. Namely, we allow ourselves the flexibility to push the boundaries on behalf of our client and partner – from both a creative AND strategic level. We question convention. Challenge conformity. Execute the unexpected. And refrain from being different for the sake of being different. Instead we think differently in order to come-up with the best way to Attract, Engage or Retain more customers for our clients.
And on a less philosophical note, we should also mention that the various Brandspank players all have a wealth of retail branding & marketing experience AND are familiar with the needs of multi-unit and franchised organizations.

With over 15 years of strategic marketing and brand development experience, Andrew has been instrumental in dozens of successful marketing campaigns for local, national and international brands – including Chevron, Telus, Ricky’s Restaurants, Pharmasave, Kal Tire, Nissan and Singapore Airlines, to name a few.
Apart from his extensive agency-side experience, Andrew also served as interim Director of Marketing with a national casual dining restaurant chain -- with over 60 franchised locations.
In addition to founding Brandspank, Andrew also developed the ConsumAER Conceptprocess. – an innovative process used to identify (and focus on) the client’s greatest area of opportunity. This should come as no surprise to anyone who knows Andrew as he is always looking for opportunities to innovate existing techniques or create new ones.

Being a Kiwi (aka New Zealander), Fraser Allen’s love for his work may only be rivalled by his love for cricket. Not surprisingly, he is an individual who really understands the importance of a team AND in keeping score – which he does through tracking, monitoring and measuring.
Given Fraser’s extensive, multi-faceted background in retail, he is a natural fit for Brandspank and, by extensions our clients. Frasers retail experience includes 10 years working client-side, working his way up through the corporate hierarchy – from customer service assistant, to store manager, to marketing executive (at head office) – at one of New Zealand’s largest alcohol companies.
As Account Manager on several key accounts, Fraser takes a hands-on approach to both planning and project management – whether it be web development, social media, loyalty programs or sales promotion. Throughout his career, as client-side marketing executive, he has worked with numerous agencies – from large multi-nationals to niche digital shops…and now, Brandspank. As a result he is able to draw on his diverse experience to identify which application(s) or approach(es) would work best for a specific client or campaign.
When he’s not working tirelessly at his desk, Fraser is either following the All Blacks or the Black Caps (he’ll let you look that up) and adores both summer and winter. In fact, according to Mr. Allen, he spends his summers at the beach thinking of skiing, and his winters on the slopes thinking of the beach. Either way, as you will appreciate, he’s always thinking.
